Hello all,

Been growin in soil now for a few years, its time to change to a drip system. i'll be purchasing one of those 8 pot wilma systems soon.

I'll veg the plants in a veg growtent (till about a foot tall), then i will transfer the plants to a flowering growtent with the 8 pot drip system in.
Just wondering what nutrients are best for a drip system, and how much and how often i put nutrients in the tank. When do i empty the tank?

As the drip system will be only used for flowering will i only need flowering nutreints, or others too? not sure.
How many times i do i feed the plants?

Has anyone got a good feeding cycle and nutrient setup they wish to share? any help would be great, + much rep given

Thanks ppl! keep smokin!

I've one of the 4 big pot wilma systems, all I use is ionic grow, bloom and boost. I have my pump set to come on for 15 mins every two hours and that seems to work great, there definitely a good buy!

thanks for the info :) Im going to buy Ionic hydro nutreint set, Forumlax, Grow, Bloom, and Boost. after i get a bit more used to a drip system might try something different. Drip systems are all new to me atm.

Rockwool in clay pebbles, dripper set to 15mins every 3hours.
I hear putting a airstone in the res, and a co2 tablet every couple of days helps too.

Any other hints, tips or info on drip systems, anyone?

Peace! keep smokin!!

The ph with the ionic nutes always stays the same for me too, u can buy ionic nutes for hard or soft water, I don't even change the water in the res cos after a week it's nearly empty, so I let it run as empty as possible and just refill, I bought an extra pump which I attach to a hose and place the pump in my sink and fill straight from there, piss easy!

must admit ive had to adapt the wilma 8 pot system a little cos its got a little floor in the design,i dont know if the 4 pot system is the same but the way the pump sits in the tank when the water level has dropped bellow the pump there is still alot of water still in the tank,as much as 20-30 liters
