I have no clue what im doing wrong. I have had much better results on my first 2 grows but this third grow is kicking my ass. First things first it seems like my seedlings and sprouts are a bit stunted for 7 days and there is still droopiness present in the first set of leafs. Im doing everything by the book and have proper airflow, temps, lighting, have not induced nutes yet. The reason im a bit paranoid is because i paid alot for these seeds. Anyone know what's up? Help
Hank.

More info needed on your setup... Im not a veteran.. but sounds like pH problem to me.. if ur not adding nutes...
Roots are locked from any nutes due to pH being either too high.. or too low. So the plant is feeding off its self to thrive... Check your pH im sure its that goodluck!

I have over waterd with bad ph water. it hurts...
I have over watered with good ph water.. and it doesn't hurt that bad.. (But my plants had a lot of roots..) So for a young plant, i would suggest look into either pH or watering. Post some pictures!

have you got any pics Hank?
Sounds wierd as this is your 3rd grow and not your 1st, so you should have things pretty off to pat. I know it is easy to say, but have you checked for spider mite? the symptoms sound very similar and they are very easy to miss indeed in the early stages - even pro's can be taken by surprise. so get a magnifying glass and check the under sides of the leaves just to be sure mate. |

Thanks for all the replies. I doubt it's spider mites but i'll keep that in mind. I was thinking it was the either the Ph or over-watering as well but like i said my first 2 grows went by without a problem. Tommorrow morning i'll report back and let them go the night without any water. Btw i let my water set out a few days before using.
Oh and i don't have a digital camera so that's that. Hank.

hank:
what is your soil? if you got the kind that 'feeds for months' it could be hurting your seedlings. what is your light and how close is it to your seedings? pics are a must for this. how old are your seeds? it may be time to give them nutes. they could be heavy feeders. good luck. |

Using a mixture of MG organic and some backyard dirt. I have 2 6500k 26 watt cfl's and 2 3000k 26 watt cfl's for a total of 4. Then running along with that i have 4 T-12 40 watt cool white flouros running above and on the side. Temps are around 73.0-76.0 constant airflow as well. Lights are about 4-5 inches away. And i also haven't induced nutes yet.
Hank:-p
