Default Watering with oxygenated water?
I was just thinking to myself that in a bubbleponics/DWC system the air pump and air stones oxygenate the water and make it so the plants can grow, even complete submerged. This lead me to wonder "If I were growing plants in soil, could I avoid or mitigate the dangers of overwatering by using water from a reservoir that is constantly be oxygenated by an airpump and airstones?" I figure that you can't drown the plants if they can breathe the dissovled oxygen out of the water. So I guess my question to the community is "Would watering with oxygenated water be beneficial to your plants?"

When I water my plants i mix my water and nutes in a 2l bottle and leave a little space at the top, then i cap it and shake the hell out of it before i pour it on each planty plant. I have no idea if this works. but it sure isn't hurting anything!

Default Over watering with 02 water=bad bad bad
If your that concerned a bit of peroxide will do the same thing. But yes having an airstone in your water will help your plants as well as help remove chlorine from tap/bottled water. I would still be very concerned with over watering as your plants will only take up a certain amount of water per week and overwatering causes your pots to remain wet to long increasing the chances of mold/bacteria in/on your soil. Your roots will also not need to grow as much to get water causing small roots, small plants and less roots to absorbe nutes from the soil. The larger your roots are the better your plant as it can substain it's self should something go wrong. To work on getting your roots to grow they need to think they must get bigger to search for water and a wet pot will discourage the growth of the roots. Just water them as you normaly would every 3 to 7 days or when your soil is dry. Your plants will thank you with a reward for your patience with out the stress of over watering, even though you would be helping one thing (keeping 02 on the roots) you would be hurting them even worse if you over watered them all the time, as the roots are the building block for your plant to produce massive amounts of buds...

@bigballin - Ok, I can believe that. But what if I watered using the oxygenated water properly, every three to seven days allowing the soil to dry out between waterings, would the plants grow better compared to watering without oxygenated water?

Your plants may not grow better but they will be healthier,i use air stones in my water,as allready said it gets rid of unwanted shit like chlorine, also a tad bit of hrdrogen peroxide mixed in the water right before you ph it helps get more oxygen to the root system.

In theroy yes they should grow better but many factors come into play when growing indoors as you can use the same of everything, strain, soil, nutes, size pots, lighting, amount of water and still get variations in health, height, and final yield. So many things come into play, but like in my previous post I "believe" if you do everything else correctly it will help, but to be honest with you if you do everything else correctly why even worry about it...
