hey i'm starting my first attempt at growing. I have white widow seeds. i set up my veg room in my second shower... it's a 6 x 4 foot walk in shower which i figured would be good because i can easily block off all light from the area. the current situation i have six 6'' pots spaced about 1 inch from each other waiting for the seeds to hatch giving me a total area of 3 square feet. i decided to go for cfls so i have wired 6 42 watt soft cfls above the pots and wired two more bright white cfls inbetween the pots for extra side lighting. I also have two 48'' vertical plant fluorescents that i may install later. Is this enough light for six plants? what else am i going to need and what light cycle should i put them on? i'll post pictures later tonight

i use 4 42 watt cfls and two growbulbs for my sixso it should be enough i take them all the way with cfls.youll need a fan for circulation and when budding sme way to exaust the old air but you got the basics for now.

i think thats a good amount of light for those plants
tha lighting schedule i was gon use is 18on and 6off

Yay for spare shower rooms!! Nice and easy to wash out the floor with its built in drainage and nice and easy to block out light! It's working for me! Check out my journal....
