Flowering question about calyx and pistils

so youre asking whens the best time to harvest? well take a magnifying glass and look at the triches. when they are the shade of gray/amber that you want them then leave them in the dark for a day or two and they should get fuzzy and plump, then chop em down.

The hairs do not get sucked back in. Rather the calyx swells to cover the hairs.

Would you guys say it's wild, or normal to be using a whole gallon of water on a 11" tall pot with a 1 ft. "across the top measurement" when it's time to water? we think its a 4-5 gallon pot lmao not real sure. it takes him a whole gallon to feed her and sometimes there is no run-off. sometimes there is just a little bit. or there is some but not enough to be alot. it's like she burps and says I cant eat no more! he used a soiless mixture to veg for over 60 days then he used a 4-5 g. pot and transplanted with ocean forest soil. he watered them in the first day and half strength food the first two feedings. he has fan leaves that are starting to get brownish rust spots,(3rd week flower, seems to be indica but they have really narrow leaves!) and some of them have started yellowing. but it seems to be a healthy yellow(first set's of fan leaves not secondary leaves). I think its time for him to be using all the liquid FF nutes and the Beastie bloom together. so maybe that will take care of the yellow ! I need some input so lemme borrow everyone's thought's and opinion's! peace out! I hope everyone had a good thanksgiving!

also this would be a great place to let me know about using all the FFnutes including using sweet the carbo load....anyone used it in conjunction with the FF nutes?

My 3 gallon require about 3/4gal to get a bit of run off on average. When I use 5gal buckets 2gal run through gets excellent run off. I only use Grow and Tiger Bloom indoors. IMO those 2 used in combination is all a plant needs....Hope this helps....
