Topping techniques

I haven't ever used them before, and I was just a bit curious what others techniques were along with the results.

I did my first and second toppings recently. Both times I cut the plants right at the 4node/sprout.

I basically cut out the 4th new node leaving a little hole or depression in the top of the plant. The first time I did it I got 2 new stalks immediately. The second plant I did it to sprouted 4 new stalks.
