Ok a couple weeks ago we had a apartment inspection, and we left a note on the door wanting to have a few things looked at. Well a maintenance man came back about a week later with no notice. i had 5 plants under a hps and were in a open closet in a room with a shut door. do you think there is a chance the maintenance man would have entered? and if so what should my plan of action be?

What did he check on? How loud are your fans in the room? How's the smell? Does the room howl with fans and reek of herb? If so, I'd move the plants (I have a hard time justifying killing them). Does the maintenance guy smoke?

Fertilizer?

Put the shoe on the other foot & think of it this way,if you were the maintance man creeping around somebody elses apt when they were not home would you open a closed door,especially when your looking at the door frame & it looks like a fukin UFO just landed in the bedroom !

Get the stuff out like yesterday.

if you cant hear anything from outside the room , and if there is no smell and light leaks you are fine. i also grow in an apt. and have had inspections and maintence guys showing up. In most cases they do there job then leave, they have tons of other water heaters to go fix. dont sweat it. if he did see something youd be notified by now anyway

I dont know if he smokes,the smell is only noticeable inside the room, i only have 1 small fan. door was shut actually but still alot of light, should i really give them the axe?
