Week 4 Of My First Grow (just joined this site)

hey guys, just joined up to be part of a community and get some good advice on my little ladies. just stuff like if size is normal, if leaves look normal, and any other helpful advice here they are so far in week 4.

Look like my plants (besides some topping) and Ive been growing for some time now. They look good. Can't really see anything to improve on.

well to me it looks like there heat stressed because the canoe shape in your leafs isnt normal and heat stress makes them do that. whats your temps?

temp is a little high, like 79-82 degrees

hmmm not too bad... maybe you have a heat sensitive plant,, well i say try to lower it a little if you can but otherwise i think your ok, just might stress the plant a little

really appreciate it ill move the lights away a little further/get more ventilation and see if they improve!

Things look good man, I also was going to comment on the temps, What are them lights your using? From the pic it looks like some type of spot light..

so today i repotted the 2 plants and added new light fixtures and new framing. keep in mind this is a very low budget grow, im just using stuff i find around the house. here are some pics of the new set-up.

with the fan on high it stayed 79-80 over the last day

yup, the plants are already bouncing back and have new growth. i'm very happy with the extra space and mobility too

First of all nice lookin plants man! I noticed your lil diy co2 setup and maybe someone more knowledgable on the co2 subject can correct me if im wrong, but i think you may be wastin your time. Are you exhausting air from the grow space with a fan? Because again, correct me if im wrong but additional co2 should only really be used with an air tight cab. Dont take my word as ive never used it your doin well regardless. Keep it up!

well its an intake fan, but even if it isn't as effective as an air tight space i'm sure a little is better than nothing at all especially at the expense of only a couple pop bottles and some yeast/sugar. but thanks i appreciate it! the plants perked up and look 100% better from my last pictures already so i'll put more up soon.

i also put in a scrog level to see what it'd turn out like. what do you guys think, keep it or take it back out and let them do their thing? here are the pictures with scrog.

hiya mate plants are looking loads better than in page 1.
i dont know nothing much about soil really just hydro, bu from what i have read looks like you getting all the hel from the above user.
If i can answer anything you ask me i will put don't be 100% certain on my answer to do with soil

thanks! and yeah everyone in this community is always very encouraging and helpful. the only big question i have is how i would go about training the plants across the screen above the plants and if i should do the training vs just flowing them without the screen with less veg time

while the plants are growing they will grow into the screen and thats when you pull them down and out out the hole it grew through and simple thread it through another hole on the screen, do this until the screem has filled up. << that answer i knosw i am right on lol
if you wanting a big yield turn them into bushes and fim the heck out of them, if you have room for big plants, but still you can do wonders in small places, try lsting them.
