so I am reading about the water cure method and I am curious to SEE the difference between air cured bud in the finished product. According to my readings water cure compromises on the after weight of the cured bud..... however its is stated that the bud is tastier and more potent and takes less time to finish.. So I would like to know you guys opinion and if you have any pics of finished product of water cured buds....

water cure? never heard of it.

If you have accidental seeds, won't they germ if you water cure? I guess it doesn't make a difference, but something to think about.

water cure gives a muchmore potent bud by weight. it comes from the fact that water doesnt damage trichomesbut it does take away some of the weight of the leaf. i dont think the taste is affecting a great deal.

also when you water cure let your water sit out for at least a day. if the water is to hot it will damage the bud and if it is to cold trichomes will freeze and break off much the same way that they do in water hash. peace love

i didnt but i remember reading a bunch of threads on this a while back and for the most part, people fucked up the water cure and werent impressed and bad mouthed it

but the people that actually got it right said its taste was incredible but the smell was diminished a little bit

i think the water cure is a little scary for people that havent done it before so they dont do it... just like me but what i think would be a good idea is to water cure only like 1/4 of your crop and air cure the rest... that way even if you do fuck up the water cure your not ruining i whole crop, and if you dont fuck it up you have buds to smoke in a week while your waiting for the rest of your crop to finish in the jars

sorry i dont have any pics or actual experience but thats what i plan doing this harvest and id like to see sum more people do it just so the water cure method spreads and we can get more experienced opinions on it

Hi,

I think that most of you folks are mistaken. Water cure does not improve the taste -- it actually diminishes the taste. However, at the cost of a lesser taste, it will make the bud incredibly smooth to smoke. Visually, the bud will also look a lot better as much of the chlorophyll will be removed by the water.
