So how do you hide your ip? well what i do is use tor in combination with privoxy which can be integrated into the firefox browser,this works similar to hollywood phone numbers ,it bounces your ip from one computer to another so when you enter a site they cant identify you ,instead of connecting directly to asite you will be bounced around first ,the cost is speed ,it can be slow at times but managable ,but when you want to resume regular browsing you can turn it off with a click.
