i topped a few plants and in i think 3 days i threw everything into 12/12,i know the plant grows but the shoots grew kinda lanky and the tops r only 3 sets and tight, im wondering if cola's will still be growing with such lil time after top?last few times i let them veg awhile before switching,any input much apprieciated!!!!.................ras

its definately acceptable top them right before flowering - during the first 3 weeks of flower they stretch, so they will grow 2 nice heads out of a cola. thus, youll have double headed colas! its really cool, alot of my current plants had to have that done cus they were 5 feet tall and i couldnt raise the light much more. some of them have 3 heads and those colas will be absolutely HUGE.

these are 3 week 12/12.
a little behind, but i topped 2 days before 12/12.
i think either way you do it, switch to 12/12.
youll have to wait for them to grow back either way, after topping,so i dont think it makes any difference. maybe its best to wait a week, but if you switch straight after, it shouldnt hurt, i wouldnt think.
