A general question for the experienced green thumbs in here. A friend grew a nice White Widow female. I cloned five babies, which my friend then used to clone five more. I then cloned his clones which when mature enough, my friend cloned again. I have now cloned his clones again and they are close to flowering. We have not seen a drop in potency or had any issue with the plants failing to thrive. Originally I wanted to use a clone to cross with a male strain but damnit if I can grow a male plant. five years and only one boi in the bunch! My house must have estrogen bouncing off the walls! So, the question....Will my clones eventually lose potency? We are trying to see how many times we can clone the clones.

I read somewhere, that you can clone up to 20 times. I'm not sure what happens after 20, maybe their genetics starts going all funny or something. Only one way to find out :P

Should only be a few more years to hit 21...if you see a large fireball in the sky, a few years from now....you know what happened....grin

you can take a clone from a clone for a long time without any drop in potency, I've personally done it up to 15 times with a certain strain and seen no change in the final product, I've heard of it being done 20 times or more, eventually the plant will lose vigor not potency........
