Default cooltube reflector & CO2

Hey all, so I have a 20lb co2 tank but not sure how to set it up with my exhaust. Heres the low down, I have a carbon filter > cooltube1000wlight > vortex inline fan > outwindow. How can I have my CO2 turn on without it going out the window? I feel that if I turn my fan off the light will get really hot and kill my plants. Any ideas?
