[IMG]file:///E:/DCIM/11380113/PICT0225.JPG[/IMG]Hi, this setup is running with 3, 7x6 inch plastic pots. 4 100 watt CFL's. and an upright fan going. 19th day of growth. Any comments or suggestions on if this setup will work.

id get the lights alot closer man..like 2 inches away and it will stop the stretching...and get more lights if ya can..the more the better..good luck

Looks good so far man great start. Just keep your lights as close as you can without burning your plants (1-2 inches) Also remember not to over or under water your plants. A great way to tell if your plant needs watered is to stick your finger about 2 inches in the soil, if its dry than water, if its feels wet still than its fine, but just use good judgment when watering. Also keep your ph around 5.8-6.5 and keep your temp no higher than 85 and no lower than 68 degree's Ferinheight. You should be fine man again good job so far.

thank you this helps alot. when do nutrients needed to be added. this is just regular organic potting soil with wahtever nutrients come with it.

id say at your 3-4 week into vegg you should start feeding them.

Actually to be more clear, the best time for feeding is when the plant has 2-3 nodes.

hey Gardenman, does that look like it should be getting nutrients? and what kind should be given to it

not yet man, they are only establishing their 2nd node. i would wait til 3rd-4th node. especially since ur in soil. the soil wil have plent of nutrients to sustain the youngsters. unlike hydro where there is 0 nutes present and you have to provide everything. they are really small for day 19 too.

well how would one up the growth. perviously they had only 2 crappy walmart fluroescents on them. but now they have 400 watts CFL on them. they seem to be perking up.

one ups the growth by skill and experience.
