I'm thinking of turning down the light to 11 hours during the last 2 weeks. My reason it to get more resin and make some gooey buds but this is my first grow so i'm not sure if this will work. on the other hand will upping the light to 14 hours a day produce more bud in the last 2 weeks. Any helpful tips will be great for my last 2 weeks starting tomorrow.

Above 12 hours and the plant will go back into veg,

Below I know nothing

if it goes back into veg, will it get even bigger and will u b able to re bud it, making a fatter yield?

13hrs of light is permited during the last 2 weeks to increase yeld.

yeah I would say more "budding" yellow/red light would be better then less. So the 13 hr idea sounds better. Also drastically lower the humidity in your room which will further increase resin production during the last few days before harvest. It has also been mentioned that adding UVB light can also increase resin production. These are fast facts, hit up a search for more detail.

i like your thinking.. BUT NO... this will not work..

i recommend staying with 12/12 and save the experimenting for your 10th yield...

if you want larger yields you nedd

1. more light
2. great ventilation
3. maximum nutrients feeding without burning
4. perfect pH

i was thinking if 12 hours is needed for flowering hormones and then it leaves 12 hrs for buds to grow what if you use a process timer instead of time clock and had 12 hrs dark and say 14 hrs light, Would this increase yield? Anyone tried. How says thier has to be 24hrs in a day screw with thier minds a little?
