To the guys that have been doing it years!

Hello to you guys in the know,

Let me tell you where i'm at I've not been growing long but with the use of this forum and listening and learning i've saved maybe months or even possible years of mistakes and for that i thank you all for the help.

I do a 5 plant grow under a 400w lamp and now getting 1.6 ounce per plant which i understand is very respectable and about as good as it gets. (given a 400w)

Now i've added a second flowering room

happy days i'm going to do another five plants but this time under a 250 envirolite lamp of 250w this is completely new to me and is based on my electric bill i got from running my 400w lamp and the 55w x 2 for veg i was using it was very cheap i was more than happy so i thought hell go for it!

Thats the reson i costed it out for another 250w envolite lamp may be well worth it but i know nothing about what to expect from this lamp i hear it is less yeild how much less ?

Basically the question i'm asking you is this should i be messing about with the envirolite at 250w for flowering or just take the plunge and go straight in for another 400w lamp ?

Its all about cost for me in relation to the yield and return...''

a 250 w HPS with a vertical scrog setup up can yeild up to 8-9 ounces..... off of a 250!

not always that much... but it gives you great bang for the buck...

i hear what your saying but i enjoy just letting the plants grow fairly normally,

I used superbud which i heard so much about on my last crop gutted on what it done i will not be using that again!

i enjoy watching them grow i'm not greedy i really enjoy as my hobby i can't smoke it like i used to but that's another story i really enjoy growing loving it!

Now i can have a crop every month ...''
