Default ?What About the Moon??

i was looking around on bird supply sites and saw some moonlight lamps (artificial moonlight). they say it helps with the birds color and something else, not important, but it made me think, what is the moon's relationship with plants? it is not strong enough to support photosynthesis, nor does it interupt marijuana's flowering dark period, so i was thinking of maybe introducing moonlight into the growroom. any thoughts?

the moon plays an integral role in many if not parts of nature, from the tides to our own bodies, you still have the gravitational pull of the moon indoors, just not the light. seems like the moon shines with reflected sunlight at night for a reason, what reason cou1ld that be? i vaguely recall reading somewhere on the web that plants absorb and store infrared light from the moon, dont recall all the details, or even know if it is true, will keep trying to find the page again.

keep in mind light from a full moon is only 1/2 lumen, any brighter could effect your flowering

INTERFERENCE OF MOONLIGHT WITH THE PHOTOPERIODIC MEASUREMENT OF TIME BY PLANTS, AND THEIR ADAPTIVE REACTION
In the short-day plants Perilla ocymoides and Chenopodium amaranticolor, a specific photoperiodic phenomenon was found that counteracts the disturbing effect of moonlight. Here light intensities similar to those of moonlight, introduced during the night, promote flowering instead of inhibiting it.

thanks, you just answered one of my questions for later. do you know where moonlight falls at in the light spectrum by any chance? currently looking into these two things, and then trying to find a light that can do it. looking for a good light meter too.
