Im About A Week Or So From Harvest And Some Of My Indicas Have Huge Fan Leaves..larger Then My Hand..and Some Are Normal Size To Small...i Want To Cut The Biggest Fan Leaves Away To Add Some Light To The Smaller Buds For The Last Week Or So...is This Pretty Normal? I Know It Probably Wont Make More Bud But Im Pretty Sure The Extra Dose Of Light And The Lack Of Giant Leaves Might Just Help.

an extreme version of this is called lollipopping.....where the lower branchs in there entirety over the course of the grow are selectively trimmed such that the end result is a plant devoid of lower branches and the remaining branches by harvest time are all laden fully with bud.....its pretty cool looking and I expect takes some practice to get it right....but I am interested in this in the longer term....today.....my plant is about an UNkemp as possible...but I'll take it for now..hahahahaha

yea i know the lolly pop method....but this is a little different...if you have ever grown a real indica plant some of them have real over large fan leaves...they look like something out of a rain forest..but they are the only thing on the plant that is green...everything else is mostly white..and they realy do block a ton of light from most of the plant..my sativa strains i do not have this problem they all have normal sized leaves and are very tall.....

those leaves I have been trimming on mine over time as they seem to to sometimes be in the way...but selectively, yes I have done that with no appreciative negative impact....I don't think.....? (page 86, my last pics... Tahoe's doing it - stepping up to the plate....we're ready.........)
