mothers | | High,
Just a quick question to verify what I have read: how young can a mother plant be to take clones and guarantee the same quality as her siblings? I kept two White Widows for this purpose from a batch of clones I purchased in Oaksterdam and am nearly ready to harvest. I want to clone from the two I kept vegatating but they are less than three months old. I have read conflicting info,; some say size (12inches) some say no sooner than 2 and a half months, some 3 months. My moms are 60 days old: is 72 days too soon? Will early cloning mean less potent, less thriving plants, or will it just take a little longer for them to mature enough to transplant and start flowering? I am well pleased with my results so far and want to repeat the process with this strain, rather than go buy something new. Is the cloning process a little different with each cultivar? Thanks for any advise you can give me! Peace, wowzap |
