My new Wardrobe Grow

I just quickly threw this together tonight, its rough around the edges but I like its potential.
Its roughly 5'H x 3'W x 2'D. I've got 5 23watt 5000k and 2 13watt 5000k cfl's.
I have two 120mm fans for intake and exhaust, and another for circulation inside.
Tell me what you think! I'm ALWAYS down for some good advice.

Enjoy the pics, Blaaaze uppbongsmilie

Dig the wardrobe. I think you have too many plants though. Here is a pic of the one I finished last month

Nice. I'd get an AC adapter to power that fan though. Not only will it clear out floor space. It just plain don't look safe.

+1 on too many plants. I've got 8 at about a month in a 3x2 closet and next time I'll probably do four and veg a little longer. Maybe even just 2.

Looks pretty good bud, plants look healthy and beautiful. I see you covered the sides of the cups to block light, great idea. The fixture looks good, but as others said just keep those lights close. The electrical components on the floor should be in a different area, like behind the wardrobe. That would allow higher humidity and spraying if desired while vegging, and would give you more room. You are a little cramped, but when you weed out the males it will be a better situation. Keep us updated...

Hi Dude, The Cab is a nice size, The lighting rig is sketchy but it will/is working I take it the CFL's are 6400K or there abouts? I would defo switch the PC component to a transformer plug to run your CPU fans. The plants are looking nice.. BUT!!! There's far too many in there expecially under the amount of light you have.... I would say 4 to 6 plants tops, Don't top them or you'll fatten the ladies up n light penetration will be minimal :( !! How tall do you plan to Veg them before switching to flower? Do you plan to either upgrade the lights, either by adding more or increasing the wattage? Also I wondered what nuits your using/going to use? - STELTHY :leaf:

I've been looking the last couple days here for a 12v adapter to wire my lights, but I can't seem to find one:-( I have a bunch of 23w 2700k light bulbs but I was considering maybe putting in an HPS or something bigger anyways. I know the light rig is a little sketch, I threw it together without the right supplies after work one night, I'll be replacing it soon. Any suggestions on that would be great cause this is my first time and I have no idea about lighting:mrgreen: As to how tall? I'm not sure really, what height get me the most bud? hahaha I need to weed out the males, so I know what I have to work with... but I'd like 6 if I can fit that many. As for nutes I just started them on Love Potion for vegging, got it for free at the hydro store  Thanks for the tips.

mimsy i would personally go with 400w or 600w if your feeling spendy on ebay you can get packages with a switchable ballast air cooled fixture and one of each bulb(mh and hps)this would in my opinion be almost ideal for you cause its a lot of light in a small package that is switchable to both veging and blooming spectrums as well as being aircoolable which would definitely be necessary with a light that big in a box that big......youd probably have to upgrade fans or maximize there effeciency by putting both intake and exhaust fans as exhaust and having passive intake(which is just a hole). also always make sure your exhaust is at top and intake at bottom as this will maximize airflow efficeincy and make the most of your little fans cooling ability.

I don't really have the budget as of right now to buy a nice ballast, could you recommend something that I can find a the hardware store or something like that.
Tomorrow I plan to do most of my upgrades, minus the new light. I will be fixing the sketch light rig =) I might setup my fans and cut a passive intake as well, you never know.
Thanks for the advice org@nicinsanity! Good to know someones read my post lately :mrgreen:

A more adaptable and larger light system and safer to boot, is a string of party lights thats what I use for my cabinet.

really chunky? what do you mean by party lights?

mimsy your plants are looking pretty good, you are going to want more ventilation as they get larger. it is always easier to put holes in before the plants get large. go to goodwill or what ever they usually have a box full of ac adapters sitting around some where. as long as the voltage is right and it produces more mA than your fans need you will be fine. you can rewire 70w-100w security lights sold at most home improvement stores for around $50, just bypass the light sensor.

there are 150 watt ballast kits online for $25-30 a piece buy 2 and you would have 50 watts per sq. ft. for around 90 total including wire and sockets and bulbs

i didnt read all the other posts, but just from the few set of pics you put up i can see something is wrong, moisture stress or ph problems(hell, maybe both, lol).

Check out the pics I just uploaded and tell me what you think! I just got a 400w ballast, HID, and MH light which I plan to install tomorrow.
I was wondering if I should keep some of my cfl's in there? More good light = More bud right?
Also how much longer until I should transplant them into larger pots?
Thanks for the comments everybody:mrgreen::mrgreen:

And just a thought, could I veg them a bit more and the flower them for a mini SOG? How would the yield compare to less plants longer?
Also is there a simple cheap DIY reflector anyone could reccomend? Thanks!
