Default flourecents for flowering?
What happens if you use flourecent lights to flower your plants? do they just not produce as much or as potent?

They will work, but you have to use more of them.

Your buds wont be as dense either. Every1 has an opinion on this so you will get more responses soon.

one can get more compact plants from a 125w daylight cfl than a 600w hps.....if the plan is to grow a short plant (or many short plants). couple that with uvb fluoros & cfls and one can do very well with fluorescents. that being said, i'd rather have MH.

CFL's can produce some dense buds, not much of it though. Or vice versa. But you should use the right spectrum's for flowering of course.

... Probably due to the fact that HPS's are for flowering and have next to nothing for blue spectrum.
