MY SETUP. plus soil drainage question. pics

alright so i have these babies growing in MG moist control. my first watering which was 8 days ago i watered the soil heavy. my PH is around 5.3 - 6. its been freaking 8 days already and my soil is still moist. today i dig the sides like 3 " deep and put some perlite around and covered it back up. and a little on top as you can see in the pictures. i am waiting for the soil to dry up already so i can bring the PH level up with the next watering, but i cant water them. any suggestions ?

just having perlite on the top of the soil isn't gonna to help drainage, it needs to mixed throughout the soil. when you transplant make sure the perlite is thoroughly mixed in with the soil

i transplanted already. what i did was fill soil half way in the pot mix with perlite and mix the top half with perlite. i also added extra holes on the bottom of the pot. what should i do since they are already in a 5g pot?
