For those who don't know, Stealth Hydro is a company that makes hydroponic & bubbleponic kits (stealthhydroponics.com)...

There's a product in particular they sell called - Dual Spectrum Bubbleponic 6 Planter Complete Kit

I'm interested in buying this product and am set to order after the holiday. The kit comes with
(a) 2 lights (blue and red spectums), one vegetative and one flowering light. (b) two parabolic reflectors.
(c) a bubleponic 6 gallon reservoir of nutrient solution.
(d) 6, 4in net pots
(e) flowering timer
(f) feed tubing
(g) air pump
(h) nutrient powders
(i) ph control kit
(j) 6 rockwool cubes
(k) hydroton grow rocks
(l) intructional manual and
(m) 2, 3way adapter extension cords

Does anyone own this product or know someone who has it? Anybody have their 2 cents of input about this product?? I've had a couple of good responses and would like to hear more

I would find out more about the lights (lumen output/watts) it doesnt even say what type of light they are.


ok after looking more they look like they come with CFL's and from the looks of it you will probobly want more lighting than the system they are providing you offers.

these are going t be compact flors they will veg you a small garden flowering will yeild less.

That would B a nice system if U are growing something small. I also think it's a bit pricey. There's a few reasons U'r doing this, One is to save money. To do that U'r gona have to spend a little up front. I use a water Farm system with a Pioneer VI light. The water Farms are a little expensive, but with about another $5.00 In modifications there a peach. Equipment is not a place U want to make sacrifices. If U can't afford a complete system all at once, buy a small one U can add on to. And don't skimp on the light. Light is everything ( along with good seeds).

For the price go to super center and buy the 30 gallon tub - make sure there are not a lot of holes under the handles. Then go to the fish dept in Walmart or aquarium store and buy the biggest air pump they have, some tubing and two big long air stone things. Then buy something to keep the air stones down at the bottom under your pots. Next buy the kit to cut holes for door handles or something that cuts a hole. Now buy a bunch of solo cups and make tons of holes or buy net pots. Next buy rockwool and hydroton grow rocks. Go to home improvement store and buy a bunch of CFLs and the refelective hoods.
You can make something better than their kit, ie better pump and lights, for less money. You can the buy kit and it will work great but you are better off using that additional money on more lighting.

Also, you are still going to have to buy a good PPM and pH measuring device and nutrients either way.

My First Grow

Well, I quit pussy footing around and I bought the Stealth Hydro Dual Spectrum bubbleponics system. I am so glad I did. My friend has spent two months and $100 trying to build and duplicate his own system, and he doesn't even have the round holes drilled yet. He doesn't get the premeasured nutrients or the FREE advise either. I got everything I needed including even the extension cords.I started with hybrid skunk seed and in 4 weeks I had plants about 18 inches tall, but they are the bushiest plants I or anyone has ever seen. I had to raise the lights an inch higher every day. EVERY DAY ! The base of the main trunk of the plants were as big as a quarter (the coin) and I just never imagined they could grow so fast and thick. After 4 weeks and 5 days, I started the flowering process and after 9 weeks, I have buds galore. I highly recommend it. The lights are perfect the nutes are perfect, and you can not get better results.

I've just recreated the stealth hydro for just 40$, i looked at those kits a few times myself and thought they looked pretty good i'm sure you'll be able to do a reasonable personal grow but the lights they send with it are not that powerful and you will struggle to get the tight potent bud that comes with using a hps.
