Phototron Growers

I am new to this site and would like to correspond with anyone that uses a phototron.
I am starting my 2nd grow in one.

Hey i saw that you were growing in a phototron, i just moved out to southern cali and because of that i had to majorly downsize for the moment but i got a phototron frkm a buddy and its the tall model i just wanted to know if you did harvest and what was your experience with it. Thanks!

I used a phototron to get a plant seeded and let it finish in there. The lights arent strong enough to get good buds but its better than not having any plants. It would be good for vegging plants or a clone chamber but to actually bud the plant youd be much better off using real lights in a small tent or homemade grow box.

I grow under HID, but am interested in hearing about the legendary Phototron. The only issue I have with it, is the lack of Strong Overhead Illumination. The side-fluorescents are wonderful, but there is nothing producing ambient lumens up top. Just my impression

Mine has a plug on top where you can put an overhead light in but that cuts down on your vertical space especially if the bulb is hot.

Is this close enough? Lol

I was wondering if they still make them too. Mine came from a guywho got it from a guy who got it in the 80's. Even came with some crusty old bottles of nutes and a mail order booklet for more supplies.

Hmm... surely there's a way to hang an overhead lamp in there. 150w HPS mini-horizontal sounds nice-

I got the tall model from a friend and this one has the pkug on top so you can add an aditional light. im def up to see how this turns out
