I know there are to many methods to count of growing weed...and I have heard a lot of different ways to harvest and cure. I want to have my weed smoke as smooth as possible though. Does anyone have any advice about harvesting and curing or just the growing process in general so the result won't be so harsh?

well if your growing it then you know whats been added to the plant,so a good final flush around a week or so before harvest and a good cure should smooth it out, thats what I do to mine, but there have been a few that would make you cough no matter what,it was very potent though.

The more you cough, the more you get off.

What's your method of harvesting and curing? I was going to leave mine drying for three days probably...and then cure through an airtight container for maybe a week.

I'd dry for at least 5 days if not a week. The stems should snap just like in a bag you get off the street. Once they're in the jars open them up for a few minutes each day and move the bud around inside. If you see condensation inside the jar then get them in the air ASAP unless you wanna smoke mold.

drying and curing all depends on the size of the buds..big buds off a 3-4ft plant take at least 8-14days, smaller buds off a 1-2 foot tall plant like 5-8days..it doesnt have 2 be so dry that the stem snaps, but when the smallest branches are snapping u know the bigger buds should be thrown into curing in a day or so..the buds should be totally dry and crispy to the touch but u want some moisture in the stem thats what curing is for..to take the moisture from the stem back into the bud..and when u cure u just throw em in those mason jars and open it for a hour or so per day for up to 6weeks

Thanks dude. So I should wait till the buds are completely dry before I start to cure? And when do I know when the curing process is done?

you want to wait until its is completely dry to throw it in the jar. if you throw it too soon you wil find your bud will be real moist again the next day and you have to leave it out again.
if you want your buds to dry faster just take them off of the main stem.
