Maybe that's why my harvests have been to dry. I waited until there was no bend left then jar'ed it. this grow i will wait till the bud is try but the stems bend and jar it. Now if i could just stop myself from sampling it too much i'll be fine.

When u burp u take all ur bud out of the jar onto newspaper or whatever and let it sit for a hour or 2 until the bud is crispy again..then put it back in the jar till it gets moist again, about 12-24 hours. When u put bud in mason jars the humidity in the jar rises from the bottom up and spreads the moisture left in the stem to the buds so if u dont burp ur buds (open the jar) it will eventually mold so u gotta be careful..a good cure is not a week either thats a impatient cure a good cure lasts 4-6weeks.
Straight, thanks for the advice. It's not necessary to take them physicaly out of the jar right? Just opening it should be enough?

Its hard to say...Its all about how comfortable you are with the mositure level of the bud. Its not that exact of a science...but its easy to let it get too wet and have mold.

Like i think we've mentioned before....hang dry until the buds are slightly crispy, and the stems are slightly crisp, but still bendy. Thats when i bag, until the bud re-moistens...and then re-dries (about 4-7 days).

Thats sorta my rule of thumb...if its dry enough to smoke a joint, and the joint burns evenly without burning too fast, then its time to cure in jars.

I prefer using Ball Mason Jars, in the 2 quart (1/2 gallon) size. They are big enough for large colas, and theyre cheap. About $12 for 6 of em.

Cure for at least 2 weeks in jars.

I know right haha. Yeah I know it's important. I have never grown before...this is my first time. But I have a strong gardening backround you know, and it's still a plant. Yes a glorius plant...but still a plant.

Alright let me run this past you guys...I think this is what I will do. Oh Cali you didn't answer my question. Do you think the paper bag part is a good idea?

    But here it is:
I'm going to hang up my plants for a few days. First, i'll trim off all the leaves. I'm going to hang each individual plant from my clothes line with paperclips inside my closet. I'll have a fan blowing gently on them to if you guys think that's cool. Then once the buds are crisp, but the stem can still bend, i'll take them down and seperate the buds. I'll then put them in an airtight container for a month or so, opening the jars an hour a day.

    How does that sound?
