you've got a few days after they open, as the pollen doesn't form instantly when it starts turning yellow it's ready to fall
so when is a males pollen sacks mature enough to pollinate? or male pre flowers. if a plant is still in veg and showing pre female flowers/white hairs and it also has what looks like a tiny pollen sack when can that pollenate?
also will a pollen sack have any white hairs coming out of it at all? i saw what looks like 2 tiny pollen sacks coming out of a node on a pre flowering plant thats still in veg..one has white hairs coming out of it and i clipped the one that didnt.
Everything i say on here is for fun, and mainly to talk with ppl like the guys from Cheech N Chong. any attachments that i upload are found on google or youtube.

Once it opens up and starts releasing pollen, self or inter-pollination is a definite possibility. You'll be able to see the yellow in the sacks/the pollen dust itself. When exactly this happens I think depends on the plant and there isn't any particular, finite span of time in which pollination can occur. Male flowers may begin to show themselves after a couple weeks of 12/12 if the plant is a true male or hermaphrodite, they may mature a week after they first appear. If the plant is a hermaphrodite, you can pinch off the male flowers you see but there is still a good chance that more male flowers will pop up as flowering progresses.
Those white 'hairs' (stigmas) that female flowers possess are there in order to catch pollen, thereby initiating seed development.
ok so can a male flower/pollen sack have white hairs coming out of it? or is that most likely a tiny new growth of a female flower?? idk the plant is still in veg lol one of them is stretching a little and growing so many white hairs.

preflowers dont always form properly. Their is a chance its a hermie, but i doubt it is.
Want to tell someone they should do a search on the site/research more while you dont bother to address the question or provide links? please remember this-
"some people learn better through interaction and discussion than studying on their own, like kids who do better in school with a tutor to interact and discuss what they are trying to learn. we dont all learn the same way."
and then hit the back button.
Thank you.
Can't we all just get a bong?
