Ok so welcome everyone..

the purpose of this thread is just as its called.. a "hydroponic showdown"

i have been growing for several years with supernatural nutes, and i have come to like them alot.. so, i thought i would throw out a chalange...

i am going to be setting up 2 2x4 trays side by side and flowering same strain plants under a 1000w hps..

in one tray i will be using supernatural nutes and in the other you will decide.. here is a pole with 10 popular brands please only vote once..

i currently have a sog thread going that is 3 weeks into flower of a 8 week cycle.. and as soon as that harvest is done i will tally all the votes and the battle will begin..

WHO WILL IT BE:

1) Natures Nector

2) Roots Organics

3) Dutch Master

4) Dyna Grow

5) Advanced Nutrients

6) General Hydroponics

7) Humbolt

8) Fox Farm

9) Canna

10) Bonicare

and let the voting begin....8)

I am on my second grow and have used GenHydro for both. I have nothing but good thing to say so far. All my plants have been strong and healthy with no signs of nutrient deficiencies of any sort. When using my water (well), the PH comes out almost perfect. The root systems were also very impressive. It is also more concentrated than some other brands. I am happy with the results I have so far and see no need to change.

thanks for your votes already guys..
as well as your vote up top i will keep track of all the other brands that i missed on this one and we will start a new poll for the next battle..

this will be fun, i love supernatural nutes but i will throw them to the wind if i found a better line..

i will make this as fair as posible when the battle begins and ask ?'s from users of the chalenger..

I voted Dyna-Gro, though I wouldn't consider myself an expert as I've only tried a few others. My reasons for choosing Dyna-Gro, in order of importance:
  1. Easy: I use Grow and Tekt, 2:1, the whole grow, from veg to flower. pH is always right on target for me with distilled/RO, and I don't flush. Don't think it needs to be done with Dyna-Gro if I don't overfeed.
  2. Cheap (and easy): I can get Dyna-Gro all over the place, and they're always one of the cheapest, proper hydro nutes (with all the essential micros in the bottle).
  3. Finer Buds: Don't get me wrong, when I brewed my own organics I had the richest flavored, densest buds I'd ever gotten my hands on, AN came second, but Dyna-Gro buds are really clean to vape, and clean to eat. They are full tilt potent as well, everything this medical user wants. ;-)
  4. Faster Switch to Flowering: The grow formula is a little light on N for veg I think - gotta keep up with those res changes - but I think the high P content allows the girls to take in more calcium and magnesium before the switch to flower, and build up a good store of ATP as well. Two of my tried and true moms produce pistils a full week sooner then when fed anything else I've tried. They don't finish any sooner, but they appear to spend a larger percentage of their time forming bud mass, rather then leaves, which is great for obvious reasons.

Yeah, I switched from GH. I was shocked at the difference in speed of growth, after I realized my girls demanded another 15-20% increase in EC/PPM in their feedings right away. :-P

I use Dyna Gro Pro-teKt for my Silica additive. I just started comparing Flair form to Jack's. Check out Flairform to see what you think.
