Default Harvested but tricombs never clouded?
Well we harvested our plant the other week. Stuff seems killer, looks great, smokes awesome so far two hits and you'll be lit for hours. And got a decent yield. How ever the tric's never changed, they stayed mostly all clear. By the end of the 12th week of flowering the plant had dropped nearly all of its leafs. However the trics wear mostly all clear yet, around 10-15% clouded I'd say. Also, nearly all the hairs stayed white. Now I know some strains act differently but could anything in particular cause this? It was grown in miracle grow soil from clone to harvest under six 18" florescent tubes. The plant was from a buddy that grows all year round, was told it was an afganie strain. Im not put off by this first attempt at all im pumped, Just curious as to why the plant never seemed to finish yet dropped all its leafs. Any insight would be great.

Yes, it wasn't ready. You harvested it too early.

I also doubt that it was an afghani strain... it would have been finished in half the time.

You must've messed up the feeds, or you got insects... this is why your leaves dropped off.

I second that! It sounds more like a sativa, were the leaves "on the skinny side"?

Yes, most definitely a sativa... and by the sounds of it a 14 weeker.

There were no visible mites or spiders and no signs of pests. Also we used a couple different pesticides as we did have those tiny little white spiders but they quickly died off. The leafs seemed normal to me, not real fat and not real skinny. How ever 95% of the leafs were 3 stars not 5, thats attributed to stress correctly? Oh also I should have mentioned this. The very top cone was completly orange and 90% clouded over around the 8th week so it was carefully topped. In hindsight that may have shocked the plant? Oh and it was fed once a week with some worm emulsion. I don't think it was a 14 week plant though. My reason being my friend who I got the clone off of harvested at 9 weeks and his were completly clouded over, hairs were around the same amount changed as ours did. Im just trying to learn things for the next plant. Granted its going to be a completly different strain im sure as I want to grow from seed not a clone.

Looks of the bud, its VERY hairy and just plastered in crystals/trics, doesn't have much leafy matter its all bud. Bright green, light and fluffy. Sound like a sativa?

Heres a couple crappy cell phone pictures, the plant was aprox 2 foot. Ill have some killer dig cam pictures when ever my buddy sends them to me.

Heres about 2-3 weeks

Heres around 8 weeks

When we harvested there was only around 10 fan leafs on the top of the plant and zero fans on the bottom, just the leafs from inside the budds. The bottom half looked almost like some one manicured the buds well it was still on the plant growing haha.

Yeah I get what your saying. Im not dissatisfied at all, stuff is up there with the better buds I've gotten to smoke. Gives you a good clean energetic high, eyes dont get really beat, and I dont seem to get burnt out at all off it. Just looking for any helpful information. I plan to get a decent HPS light or something along those lines once we move into the house this summer.

Looking at the plant do you have any suggestions? Or any good tips for the next one(s)?
