I plan to get a decent HPS light or something along those lines once we move into the house this summer.

Looking at the plant do you have any suggestions? Or any good tips for the next one(s)?
if you did that good with floros then you don't really need help do you?

Is it really that good? Ive read a ton on this site that helped with the grow, and I've seen that you seem to really know your stuff so thats a nice compliment to me. The top cone we took off was about 3 grams dried. What we just trimmed up was about 35 grams wet. Hoping to get around 18-20grams dry . Sadly we only have a cheepy hand scale at the moment as my buddies gf thought it would be a good idea to see how much her hand weighed and wrecked the diggie.

You're looking at 7g dry from a 35g wet weight.

It seems that you suffered a lot with bad ph... and the plant struggling to uptake nutes.

I believe you locked out nutrients, and stunted the plants ability to grow properly... good thing though, at least your honest... we get guys on here that claim 4oz a plant when using fluoro's.

So, it feels good to talk to a truth teller... next time you're going to need a way of measuring ph, and ec... oh, and a HID lamp. Also a strong fan, and a way of ventilating heat. This could be something as simple as leaving the grow area door open.

well were not trying to get silly with it well were in the apartment. Pretty much the set up will be the same how ever I wanna look in to feeding and fertilizers that can be used well. And really only 7grams once dried? Thats shitty, I really hoped for about a half not a 1/4. But with the 3g we took early thats 10g's off one plant. Not to bad for a first grow I guess. Any more tips with out really changing out the set up?

Plant took so long because of lighting.

You used flouros which isnt that bad, but Im pretty sure you could have gotten them closer to the plant. They seemed a bit far to me.

But either way, you got bud for your first grow <3
Nicely done mate

The Lights were actually about an inch away from the plant, and the plant was turned a 1/2 turn every afternoon. The lights were just held back for the picture.

Get a digital ph pen/meter, and an ec/ppm meter/truncheon.

Get those two things and you'll be on your way to improved yields.

Yeah I planed on pickin up some meters for the next grow. For Ph last time we just did it the old school way where you mix the soil and water boil it create a percipatae then use a ph paper like you would for any other liquid. The Ph was for the most part neutral the entire grow. This was really done by the seat of the pants here, watered when it looked to need it with good old wegmans spring water, and just given some worm poop every monday lol.

cool... organic. Don't know much about organic, and in soil you could have a ph of 8 and still grow through to harvest, so long as you flush regularly with neutral water regularly. Yields will not be as good obviously, but it can be done.

Here is a good place to buy a digital ph pen: The Skunk House - The top 100 strains from across the globe.
