Effective AND Inexpensive Odor-Absorber For Drying (And Growing)...

This information is too valuable to be left within an old thread, so I thought I'd start a new one...

"Nature's Air Sponge Odor Absorber" really works QUITE well, but only if there's proper ventilation.

I had an entire five-foot tall plant of Twilight that I just harvested. I trimmed it inside the house and it is now drying-out on a tomato trellis inside. With the windows all closed and "Nature's Air Sponge" within and surrounding the area, the entire place still reeked like herb... But when I opened the windows and turned on the ceiling-fans, the smell went-- seriously-- just about COMPLETELY AWAY.

I speculate that it works at absorbing odors from the air, but (obviously) doesn't absorb old, stale air. If the old, stanky air isn't circulating and being replaced with fresh air, then the bud keeps permeating odor into an already stinky room-full of stale air... But if the air is being "flushed" and replaced with clean air-- simply by having a couple of windows open, for example-- then it truly DOES absorb ganja odor!

This stuff works incredibly well. I know that some people have strong opinions on what works and what doesn't. That's fine. I'm new to this. All I know is that I don't have a lot of money to invest in expensive filtration systems, regardless of how effective they are. This product is five bucks for a half-pound tub (about the size of a little container of margarine or hummus), and I am using two in the tiny room that the herb is now drying in, plus one outside the door to the room, and one more in the middle of the house (just for good measure), and-- so long as the room with the weed has a window open-- when I walk in the house from being away for hours, I only smell a faint scent of freshness, but not herb.

Twenty bucks, and my worries are over!!! I'm drying weed WITHIN the frickin' home, with NO SMELL PROBLEM. This stuff should be viewed as gold for the ganja-lover!

maybe if I knew what actual chemical it was. all it's called is "nature's sponge." I don't want a product. I want a solution.

Wouldn't be surprised if it were baking soda (which I am about to try).
