Just curious if mylar can cause hotspots on the leaf's?

My mylar is kinda loose on the walls. THere are hot spots ( brighter spots ), but I have seen no sign of burn on the plants. My fan keeps the mylar flapping so the spots move most of the time. I wouldn't worry about mylar. I think you only have to worry if you are using mirrors. But I am only using a 400w light- maybe at higher wattage the spots can do more damage?
