Two four foot florecent bulbs . . basic i kno . . but will it work?

I have three plants growin, i am using two four foot florecent bulbs right now . . how long should I use these lights for before i switch / upgrade to something else ? This might sound like a dumb question . . but im a first time grower and only tryin to see if I can actually produce some healthy plants.

i would only do this for like the first month or so. After your plants get above 12 inches tall/or you switch the lights to 12/12 toss em'

What kind of bulbs are they and what wattage are they?
Usually people will switch to some kind of hid lamp for flowering or use a lot of cfls or tubes and not just 2 or the buds will be small and fluffy all though smokable still

Use the flourescent light you have now to get your plants through it's first 4-6 weeks. Pick 5 weeks if you're not sure which to do. Once they are 35 days old, upgrade your light source to 400w HPS Lamp. This will take care of the few plants you have, and bud them out. You can get one for dirt cheap at HTGSupply.com for $119, complete with reflector, ballast, cordset, and 400w HPS bulb w/30% increased blue spectrum, everything you need to get'cho shit poppin.
