so i brought home 2 clones and have been playing around with cfls. started with a tray next to my frosted windows (aww apartment living) then created a mini light box with foamcoar and gaffers. using 4 cool light cfls from home depot on 18 hour cycle.

decided i needed them in a closet to control better and not let my cat eat them like wheatgrass.

so now in closet i knew my 4 lights were not enough. got a couple more then found the socket adapter that i can add 2 bulbs to one socket.

now running 8 100w on the sides and 2 150w warm above in reflectors.

im using a shop table for my light fixures and can raise the bars for a while.

i have 2 more socket splitters and will be using 2 x 150w warms above each plant for flowering and keeping the cools just to add some penetration and more lumens.

would love some imput from cfl growers and yes i know. mh and hps would be better.

CFls are fantastic... and your pictures are great.... sounds like you are gonna have a great yield..

there is no reason to try and grow tall plants using CFL's flower when they have 4-8 nodes and keep the lights close...

i actually got these clones from a collective. ill prob clone from one of these and see if i can root. i dont have any room to create veg room and a flower room.

you really think i can start flowering only after 16 days?
what do you think i will get from each plant?
