Calm down some. I run a couple forums myself for work. One this size and probably on a budget, I can certainly see the delay in creating another room. Adding another room eats more memory and/or space that you could be low on anyways. These things can and do put some stress on the hardware. Everyone be cool and it will happen, I am sure of it.

Still cost of a new switchable digital ballast is just as cheap costs about the same to run and gives better buds then cfls but I guess if you dont have a hundred bucks and dont care if you spend 4 months growing a quarter sac that cost 5 times more then just buying it cfls make sense

the site...

As much as I hate to admit it.....I was running 240 watts of cfls on my surviving plant (bag seed looks just like oaxacon haze) after 14 weeks of flower it's 5 foot 8 inches tall and only (drum roll please) a dried weight of one and a half ounces of seedless fluffy pot. On a brighter note it's 2 hits and quit but the stuff is fluffy, ugly, and smells like lemon tea. I just ebayed my hps lamp. In short I'll know better next time.

Dude, i havnt said anything yet about you posting this stuff in every other thread but...STFU. Seriously. Im not choosing CFLs over HPS, its my only choice for the space. Its like bitching at all the VW drivers that a hummer is the only way to go.

If i put a HPS in my space all that i would be able to do in there is bake some hash brownies.

There are so many mixed emotions about CFL's where does one turn. Maybe i should have started a poll first to get everyone's point of view.

I think you should Hank, however my vote would be going to HPS.

hid will always produce better bud than cfl, but thats not the question.

The idea for a cfl forum has been put forward, there has been many positive responses for it, and rollitup said sure, lets have a cfl forum.

Its just you guys have been too "STONED" to come up with a name for it.

I don't understand the point of using CFL's when you can use tubes? I've seen some good grows done with CFL's don't get my wrong, but all of them were done by people with a ton of experience and a whole crap load of bulbs. It doesn't seem efficient to me at all, plus I hear they get pretty hot.
