Just a few pics of my Nirvana blackjack's, growing in aerogarden spacesaver 6, but ive learned for next one, need more room for the roots but anyways im satisfied for first time so far, one plant seems 2 weeks behind the other for some reason but oh well. I love zooming in and looking at all the lil tiny mushrooms, haha, anyways the close ups are from the right, the left is just now starting to get a few hairs at each flower point.

Let me know what you think of the one with the flowers, she's 30 days in flower, the other seemed stalled for a week so hoping a res change today will fix it up, going to get some spring water out of a bubbling spring near my home, then it'll be bubbling blackjack haha

I lst'd a little late but it still pulled them over enough that a few of the side branches broke up through, actually on the right plant one of it's main contributors right now is actually a side branch that starts at like the second or third node. Def going to be doing some earlier training next time around, wouldn't mind spiraling them around pots before letting it grow upwards in the center and see what I get but I'm stoked that the one plant looks as nice as it does for my first real try

just a quick update, the slow one has finally started to flower but aS YOU CAN SEE IS WELL BEHIND THE OTHER... OH WELL, sorry about the caps

and obviously you can see they must have been two different phenos

thanks they are 48 days 12/12 in those shots, as you can see the one decided to wait extremely long to begin but now she has a side branch from 2nd node that is as big and developing just as much as main cola, so hoping to get two thick ones off the second plant and then all in all i will be glad with first grow. Second will prolly involve a CMH being added above, meanwhile the soon to be mrs. wants to do one under cfl following riddleme's approach in soil, making it rain before each feeding. We'll see how each of them goes starting mid october after the honeymoon. Cant wait to improve upon the many mistakes Ive made this time.

So question... I know the blackjack is a hybrid and that indicas are done 7 - 9 weeks and sativas 9 - 11 weeks. Now with different phenos is it possible to get one that grows completely indica and done very soon while the other took roughly two weeks longer to start the flowering phase and stretched a bunch more? Just curious if anyone has gotten the two complete opposites like this? Or at least I'm hoping the second is a sativa pheno and will fill in like the shorter girl

Alot of views with no comments! The plant that is more indica looking I'm thinking can be cut in a week, hoping my timeline is correct. Please tell me otherwise if the pics show it, also I'll post some close ups of just that one tonight. The other is just getting started so I'm think another 2 - 3 weeks and then hopefully I'll have one couchlock blackjack and one heady... We shall see

I can't speak with any real experience, but I do have four BJ I just put in the ground two weeks ago. All four look like identical twins, except for a little difference in growth. By comparison, in the same grow, I have five Northern Light seedlings which show two distinct phenos.

Alright, and as far as early growth they looked identical as well. Both bushed out like crazy and had short internodes, but once I went to flowering the early one didn't stretch much and flowered nicely the other took off and only started to show signs a week or two after so I just figure the one is showing more signs of sativa then the other, bc now that she started flowering she's going crazy, my only problem is they are in same aerogarden so I've been flushing and hopin to get the first one cut and then give the other some more flowering nutes before it's final flush

Not sure if this one is done or not, tried snipping a smaller lower bud and steam quick dry approach, i know i know here come the wolves about using a microwave, deal with it, anyways didnt really feel much off it and I cant tell it the trics are white or amber with my 20X loupe, at least not yet, first grow noob so any and all help/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

plant on the left just started showing bud sites and the hairs are now taking off like crazy, so that poses another question, I've been running just water for a week hoping to flush the one and then wondering if I can cut it and try to give the other nutes again while it flowers. The problem is both are in same aerogarden res. if I kill the one off and leave its roots, will they start to die and give the other plant any troubles??

pics show up while sitting here in edit mode, yet when i say save they dont show up... hmm

wanted to post a few updated pics, finally belle (left) has stopped stretching and has begun to considerably flower. Day 54 of 12/12 hoping they will be finished before Oct 1st. Added another 150w CFL to hopefully help her along. Also I put in a shot of one of my side branches on Jasmin the one that has been way ahead, Im just waiting for her to go white, hoping it gets as white as the one pictured on nirvana's site, but only time will tell. Thanks for stopping by everyone and feel free to leave comments, I see a lot of people are looking but no one is saying anything
