Ok Im ordering seeds from worldwidemarijuanaseeds.com and im trying to get more than i payed for, so to speak. when i start to grow these plants how can i get them to produce a huge amount of seeds? Im thinking just take a male plants and use the pollen to fertilize the female pistils but please advise if there is a definite way to achieve a high yield of seeds. Also, how many seeds can you get from one plant? If Im buying 10 seeds Id like to make them last by getting seeds from a plants that I have. In my opinion it would be good to have a personal seedbank stateside. Im growing White Widow from Dutch Passion and also Strawberry Cough from Dutch Passion. Im also growing Northern Lights #5 X Haze from Sensi. High Quality stuff right there IMO.

i'm just curious, why don't you keep a mother instead of seeding if your not breeding?

well the clost isnt huge, thats not my point. im not trying to grow a shitload of plants but id rather just not have to order seeds that often and actually the closet is so small i dont have space to clone my plants. To be honest i just prefer growing from seed. Id like to just grow a plant from each breed and just seed them and keep a decent amount of seeds in my collection for the future. Thats why Im wondering. In case I stop growing for awhile and i cant keep clones or a mother seeds are the most logical stock to carry since they store easily.

I can answer a question you did not ask.

A huge, world famous, teaching facility I am aware of does this: they take all their seeds and keep them at about 38 deg f. in moisture proof containers. They have a large refrigerator filled with thousands of different species from all over the world. So, regardless of whether it is pumpkin seeds or cannabis, keep it seeled tight at 38 deg. They could, in theory, lay dormant for years.
