Default Mites!! - can i spray my plants for mites during flowering ???

soil grow. the plants are about 6 weeks into flowering and the flowers are looking quite pretty. but then today i noticed spider mites! damn!

the spray mix instructions not only ask to spray entire plant, but then a few hours later, spray entire plant with plain water. i'm concerned because its not recommended to spray water on the buds, as it can cause mold.

can i spray pesticide on the plants this late in the game? if not, please make suggestions.

With what are you spraying? Most organic compounds are safe on flowering plants. I'd be suspicious with instructions that included a water wash after spraying. Spraying plants will not cause mold in & of itself. Mold will become present dependent upon a number of elements including, heat, moisture in the room, air quality, etc. Many growers spray plants with nutrients throughout the entire season, grow & flowering. I'd recommend Zero Tolerance by Ed Rosenthal. Check it out around the web & email me for more info and any questions. Good luck!

Get some Neem oil, follow the directions... it will leave the plants with a kinda waxy look... hit em again 3 days later and if still signs 3 days after that.... then after harvest blast teh shit out of everything with the solution of neem oil... I have saved one of my grows and a buddys with this all natural substance.... Neem and don;t panic

you can NOT spray pesticide on your flowering plants. in veg its fine but in flowering you cannot because you now have open flowers and trichs all over it and the pestice will never come off the sticky. you neem oil or use something everyday to wipe the webbing off, its about all you can do this late in the game

get a shop vac and vacuum them off every day, increase your fan speed so they cant build webs. the shop vac is the best idea i have ever seen, my buddy just tried it the other day, it worked well for him. labor intensive and you lose some trichs but you dont have to worry about pesticides. after you harvest, bleach and bomb the room.

    Default azamax.

azamax is working well for me. is a general hydro product. its a tad bit expensive but the thing is a little goes a long way.. its a natural product so plants are pretty tolerant of it.. I find myself trying to use a little less now and using it more frequently. once a week or every 10 days. you can soil drench or spray in any stages. Im trying to use soil drench with light amounts of azamax during flower, because the plant is supposed to absorb it and hold is as a risidual that is also effective.. I dont know if soil feeding or spraying is more effective i just use small amounts of both and frequent.. mites suck. you dont want any starting to thrive all the sudden gettin close to harvest..im gonna soil drench with azamax up untill about 2 and a half weeks.. 1 more nute feed. then 2 weeks final flush etc. .. this product is working great so far.. i just bought another 4 ounces of it for 22 bucks. itll get me through a couple of grows. its safe to use close to flower..Ill spray only if i have to.. but the soil drench seems to work..Ive also used it on gnat larva and it knocked them down well.. a 4 ounce bottle of this stuff can treat i would say 5 or 6 large plants in 8 gallon containers.. thats a pretty big round. lol. /.. my outdoor plants are just a couple weeks into flower and dont have much bud mass yet so they will get one more light spraying of azamax tonight..I have my theorys that spraying the plants efficiantly with a nice mist .. but my indoor plant has had a recent soil drench its had no sprays for over a couple weeks and no sign of mites.. azamax absolutely slows them down mostly if not completley. its working wonders over here and calfornia mites are no joke

Get Mighty Wash and you can Spray up until Harvest Day, of course you want to make sure you dry it well depending on how much you use but that's the best part. You cannot Use too much Mighty Wash & it wont taint your buds at all, their is no smell. & you do not need to worry about washing it off. <3
