Around 2 months ago I started my first indoor grow. I tried a experiment, I grew 2 females in soil in 5 gallon pals and then started a DWC hydro set up later. The soil females are huge 28 inches tall very strong stems and budding nice and their only 7 weeks olds veg'd for 5. Now my hydro setup well its into its 3rd week and the little guys look good and have some big roots. but some of them still have only their first set of leaves and are deformed and others are huge I dont have a clue whats up. Now I tried cloning and messed it up my rockwool cubes were to wet and the clones turned yellow and bloated looking, any help on that would be great.

This is my setup any help with it would be great neg/pos.

SOIL:
400hps
room size 2.5 X 3 fully myler'd
fox farms grow big, and Ozi magic Monsta bud
complete soil mix, Local greenhouse custom mix dont Know whats in it only they do.

HYDRO
4 x 48" 40w coolwhite flouro's. will be switched to the 400hps for flowering
31" x24" DWC
Dutch nutes grow A & b
P.h 5.8-6.0
Myler covering the intire set up.
And some great looking plants and some little gremlin looking ones
Any help on my set up would be great. This is my first try and the hydro system. and the cloning is a bitch.

me and my buddy are paranoid But i might take pics this week. the flouros are about 2 inches away because we like to look at them and the light fixture is a heavy bitch.
I think my plants are all sativa's they are tall but steardy not short and bushy.

Thanks for tip Knowm I thought you should have them 2-5 inches away.

Does anyone know why some of my hydro plants are deformed I was told poor genetics(bagseed grow) but my soil girls are perfect

You should keep fluorescents as close as you can without burning your plants... which should be 1/16 of an inch.. LOL

I might snap a few pics tonight just dont laugh at my handicaped hydro and limp ass clones.

Yeah listen to knowm. keep those fluorescents real close like almost touching, they they don't get hot and it wont hurt your plants.

I had this problem when I first went to hydro. Somehow, the small ones were stunted. There are a few things to think about. You can wait for them to start growth before you bloom, but your other plants will be huge! Or you can put them in another room to grow (if you can), then you could have plants ready to bloom after you harvest. Or get rid of them.

I went to take pics but the GF would not let me use her camara for weed pics, bitch. Tonight I put the dwc into flower mode under the 400 hps. My soil baby's are massive 36" and 32.5" tall and budding all over, I love it. how much will a 3 foot very stout extremly healthy plant yeild.

Im going to get pics of my little grow, when the bitch leaves I will scoop the camara and go over to my grow.

Im only going to throw out my little tiny ones that are around 1 inch tall.

Ozi magic Monsta bud is the bomb 2 weeks into flowering and the plants are buding like mad. Also how much taller will they get,
