clone doenst match mother

I do all my own cloning and recently i cloned my bubleicious that is a 9 leaf plant. Now my clone the best clone i decided to keep for a mother and it is about 3 weeks oldnow and it only has 3-5 leaf fan leaves. Not sure what is wrong here. Any info would be nice as i was going to make her my new mother.

This is common and normal and nothing to worry about. Once your clone is in flower, it'll have the same number of leaves as your mother. Moreover, it will produce the same product that the mom would produce.

What branch did you take your cutting from, did it have a 9 leaf set? Not to worry though, as it grows and begins to mature in the next week or two, you'll hardly know it was a clone.

I have the same problem. One told me that it happens when u clone plant that is less than 2 months old.. So i think he is right.,.. How old was your plant before cloning ? And are there any leaves twisted in spiral ?
