Default good idea or bad idea?

well i had one of those really tall touch lamps that have 3 settings (on,bright,and off). Well it broke at the base and it wouldn't stand up on it own. So i unscrewed it into four sections and hung the top part off of some hangers and put a cfl in it. I only have one plant i'm trying to grow just to see if i can do it. But I wanted to know if this is a good idea or a bad idea.

Be careful when rigging light set ups... I found this out the hard way, having a rigged system fall on your plants can be disastrous! LOL.


Btw, you're going to need more than 1 cfl, even for 1 plant...

My VERY first grow.. in the closet, under cfls, skunk bagseed.
