So I tried to clone a plant that Im pretty sure is female , outdoors. At first the clones just drooped over and wilted badly. Now they are standing upright but some of the leaves are dying and the leaves that are alive are hanging down.

What can I do to perk these clones up?

did the plants you took the clones have alternating nodes? how big and how many leaves the clones have? did you use a rooting hormone? and are they outside or indoor? they under a tent? have you been spraying them with a clean water bottle and putting them under a tent?

Give them some time. The first 24 hours they should wilt anyways, they just got cut off the mother. They should stand up again and within a week or two(maybe more, depends on how well of a growing technique you have) they should be nicely rooted and growing properly.

1) yes it was just starting to alternate nodes 2) they were about 9 inches tall with 4 sets of leaves 3) yes I used rooting hormones from wal-mart 4) they are outdoors 5) no they arent under a tent 6) at the moment I dont have a water bottle or a tent.

Thats good to know. They showed signs or perking up since they went from leaning over to standing upright, but the leaves at this point are still drooping badly.

they need very high humidity and 18-24 hours of light. You need a humidity dome, a florescent light and a bottle to mist them...

IDK this is just me, but id take smaller clones trim away bottem leaves leaving about 2 or 3 leaves on them, and put them under a ten if you dont have a tent milk jugs cut the bottem out of them and place them over the clone and a pray them down keep thtent over them but if there starting to come back they will probly make it, all clones when you take them they get real sick looking but after about 4 days if there still alive they make it

They dont get real sick looking in my opinion, they just droop for the first 24 hours or so, then start to get a kick on things, all the fan leaves should be cut in half, and the lowest 2 sets should start to yellow and die ( they are using their energy for rooting)
