So when I was out at my uncles this summer, I got some pics of his plants around his house. Supposedly they "grow wild" but some of these easily reach over 12 feet. And there were probably over 10 that were a littler taller than me (I'm almost 6 foot..) When I was out there they were way to early to harvest, and from what I remember the females weren't even flowering yet (the fing males were spreading pollen everywhere so who knows if any of them will even bud..) I am sooo tempted to go back now and try to harvest them.

My bro has the pics on his digital camera. I am going to post them later tonight hopefully. What do you guys think? Is it worth it to go out there and have the possibility of all the females prego? By the way, my uncle is moving out in Jan. so this is my last chance....Also I would only have the time to go out once, so I have no idea when the outdoor grows usually mature.

You should probably make sure that it is worth your time before you go out and take the time to harvest. It could just be some good, old fashioned wild American hemp. Does your uncle smoke? If so, you should get him to go out and quick-dry a couple buds to see if it is even noticeably psychoactive. If you took the time to do a thorough harvest, and dry and cure many pounds; you could find out that it was hemp, and you've been fooled by mother nature.

Yeah, does someone have a pic of hemp or a distinguishing factor? Does hemp have males and females? When I was out there the males were already producing pollen so that is one reason why I thought it was marijuana. Another thing is that it is only around his house... and no where else on his property. I told him he had a lot of marijuana around his property, and he said I could have as much as I wanted. Thats about all he said. The plants def. had a strong smell to them when I was out there and they weren't even flowering yet, but I think I was mostly smelling males.

If I would have gone out earlier in the year right when the males sexed, then I would probably be sitting on about 5 pounds of weed right now....
