How hot is a 150w HPS? I have a ply wood grow box painted white, 36x18x22".. With adequate ventilation, is a 150w hps a a bad idea? I dont want to burn my place down.

(It's only for 12/12, CFLs for veg! )

I think the only time you REALLY need to worry about it would be with a 600 or 1000w. If you have decent ventilation you should be fine. If you're still unsure, start the grow on a weekend or something where you have a day or 2 to watch it. Hope that helps.
