How to maintain a low (5.5-6.0) Ph in well water?
I have somewhere between 7.0 and 8.0 Ph water and I have general hydroponics PH down and up. I used it yesterday and the water was at a Ph i liked now today i test it and it's back up. I do know that a unstable ph is worse then a high ph.
So any ideas how i can maintain a stable ph with my well water? Should i try adding more ph down?
I guess worse case scenario i will need to pick up some gallons of distilled water.

Hmm i have a hunch, possibly water from my creek would work? If that works it will make this much easier, i am going to go check the ph now :P

I have ph Down, once it goes down its good then the next day i check it, its up again. I believe the metals in the water are bringing it up. jsteezy1290 do you grow hydro? Because pH is a big deal growing hydro, you may have a ideal ph in your well water without knowing it, in my case I don't. I just purchased 20 gallons of distilled water from wallmart today.
