Watcha think 'bout Welthink Ballasts?

If I buy a cheap 600W digital Welthink ballast for some guy in the big city who has got these from china obviously, are these a half decent ballest now, he says there UL tested is that true? Anyone growing with these i would like some info. I'll save $300 if I buy this over a lumatek! i could buy 2 of these and still be cheaper then the lumatek. what i'm worried about is the quality of the bulb. Any help would be appreciated.

Got a 1000w ballast last Oct from ebay, so far working well.

My 600w adjustable is kicking ass. Dealer on ebay kalamazo or some thing like that handled a warranty no problem. If there were massive problems with them you would hear about it. There was one guy on here stating he had like 50 of them all DOA. I find that hard to believe. He must have had some issues other than the quality of the ballast

That or he got a shitty batch of first gens. I will be trying out these ballasts i guess. I can but two cheaper then one lumitec. I just wanted to confirm that these are still getting good reviews. Also they seem like they must do good I mean HTG Suppy and a lot of other bigger hydro sites are selling them and they continue to recieve good feed back. Is the stock HPS bulb a decent bulb or should it be replaced?

I got my 600W last night delivered for $200 CAD!! Ballast, bulbs (HPS & MH) reflector, uL tested and shielded cords... I was assured I have a no hassle 1 year replacement on ANYTHING the fails for a year! MAN YOU JUST CAN'T BEAT THIS!!!!! are the bulbs they sell with these worth while guys?

So far how's it working for you? I'm tempted to try these but most of the positive reviews on multiple sites are by biased people or one post.

Sorry its been a while. The ballast gets a bit warm to warm/hot but is VERY quite and starts fast the bulb that was included it bright as hell. I mounted the ballast to my concrete so I'm not worried about the heat. Other then that I'm SUPER impressed with the product! Two bulbs, ballast reflector, socket and cords for $200 CAD!!! Can't go wrong.
