Advice to cure if possible damage yellow leaves

Hello,

I'm running a hydro set up and i think i was a bit keen on getting the light too close, i think i must of burnt the plant which sits in the middle directly under the light. The leaves have turned yellow. The plant still looks ok with the bud starting to take shape coming up to two weeks since going into flowering the hairs on the top do look a bit whitess but the other plants around have not suffered this problem thankfully my pH levels are fine as is chems so i presume is was because i had the light too close. 400 W HID

Is there anything i can do to help the plant or is it too late for that should i just learn to keep the light far enough away in the first place next time ?

Hello billy,

Probably nothing you can do if the plant got burned.... BUt you can put a fan blowing in between the light an the foliage. This would probably be a better choice than raising the light. How far is the light form the tops of your plats?

Hello Garden Knowm,

I do have a fan which is positioned to blow underneath between the light and the plants my 400 W lamp in within a tube with a second fan blowing through the ducting also.

When i burnt the plant the lamp tube was only a couple of inches away.

Now it is 5 inches away from the bottom of the tube so 7 inches from the lamp held within.

My overrall light now stands just a smigen over 2 foot from the top to bottom of my plants. As I'm using a 400 w any higher and it will be worthless for light to lower part of the plant I've read.

So what i have done is used a couple of yo yo's and bend the high burnt middle plant away to the left it seems to be ok and my hand is not hot when i test it. Have i done the right thing should i of bent it ? Or would it of been better just talking the lamp up ?
