I say let the newbies ask questions. even if the questions are simple or could be looked up in the FAQ or some video. Why should that be a problem? personally i think it's good that people question common practices. Even if they may not know they are doing so or simply want to know the common practice. If i were to convert to soil and ask how big of pots to use for my plants? people would say go look at the FAQ or read a book and call that question a stupid one. common practice says a gal per ft of plant. Look at fdd. he defies common practices and produces trees that very few can rival. I think it's healthy to ask "stupid" questions. questions that "everyone" can answer but unless we ask them again...how do we know we're right? OR how do we ever find out that there's a better way?

I don't think that was an example of a stupid question. I'm talking crazy shit like what is bud, what is hydro, ok I bought this set up now what do I do those kind of questions. I personally like reading about arguable topics like pot size, watering, nutes, etc. I am more so just talking about blatantly stupid questions. I really hate the ones where someone is in the middle of a grow and doesn't know what ph is or they are in the middle of a DWC and don't know anything about DWC. This is what I am referring to. I will post actual examples if necessary. Also I missed what you meant about FDD he's the shit.
