Some people mist every hour or so. I put a bowl of water by the intake fan and it works fine.
Right so im growing blueberry and need to raise my humidity, now i have a humidifier that lets out the mist,l but someone suggested a towel and a bucket?? so what do i do just put a towel in a bucket of water and leave it in my grow room or do i keep takin the towel out and lettin it dry in there.
And to conclude would this actually be better than my humidifier???? i know some old tricks work better than new technology.
All advice apprecited guys

Dunno bout a towel. Might grow some mold..
I personally.. would just stick to using your humidifier. Just keep using what you have bro.. it'd be way better than using the bucket/towel method. Never heard of that method either... and I agree with the fellow that mentioned something about growing mold.. and he's 100% right. You'd just get mold from that.. I mean I guess you could do it.. but I'd suggest not to use it personally.
Just keep doing what your doing bro... go and get you a Humidity gauge.. that'll really help you out too. If you dont already have one.
I have a gauge cluster that I built.. it has my Biometer; tempature; and humidity all in one cluster. Really helps me keep track of the
environment in my grow area.
Hope this helped!
peace.

I don't suggest using a towel either. If you must what you would do is to use a good wicking towel some towels don't wick well, especially ones that have been dried with a dryer sheet. (don't use dryer sheet with towels). Put one end into the bucket of water support the other end by some means and have a fan blowing on the suspended part of the wet towel. Replace the towel as it starts to mold at the bottom. Should work OK. Better to do as suggested above. Place a wide open bowl of water under lights and in front of fan or use a humidifier. Either way is sounds like your plants may be small, as usually people try to get rid of humidity.
Hope it helps out
