Hey, does anyone know much about this stuff?? I got a packet of it and was told to give it to my plant because its badly stressed from being dug up and the roots were damaged. It is supposed to be put into the transplant hole but obivisoly i cant becuase the plant has already been replanted. Should I try to give it some in water or do you think its a waste of time??

I used it 2 weeks ago when I planted my clones into 2 gal containers. I don't know if it really worked but the small amount of $ "5 bucks i think" was worth a lil insurance against root rot. This is a good bacteria that eats BAD bacteria that causes root rot. I would put my finger down into the soil as close to the roots as possible " don't warm them any further" and then add a tablespoon to hole and cover.

Thats not their main purpose but they probably do help roots get over stress faster. People tell you to use it while transplanting just because its a good time to get it mixed into the soil.
Mycorrhizae is good for your plants becuase it allows the roots to pick up water and nutrients easier. They also eat the bad microbes and prevent root rot. MICRO BEASTIES!!!!!!!!! |
